I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (MA49253) living in Riverview, Florida. After graduating from Edutech Center, now Florida Career College, I have brought quality table massage to my clients in the comfort of their homes. Another specialty of mine is chair massage. I also provide this modality at clients’ homes, workspaces, health fairs, and am regularly at Whole Foods on Friday afternoons, here in Tampa. I have received trainings in a number of modalities that include: Swedish massage, strain/counterstrain, myofascial release, sports massage, positional release, etc.
I enjoy using techniques such as positional release, which allows me to move the body into a comfortable position to gently releasing trigger points, knots, and areas of tenderness. This can help “retrain” the muscle to fully relax instead of habitually holding tension in the muscle fibers. Those with fibromyalgia tend to benefit greatly from this treatment, since some other trigger point therapies can be too painful to endure for this condition.
